About
Bianca Bishop is an LA-based environmental designer working in theater and film. Her work ranges from lighting and scenic design in theater, to production design in film, and concept art and world building for film and other mediums.
Bianca is currently studying at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, where she is enrolled in both the Scenic Design and Lighting Design tracks. She has designed for the UCLA School of Theater, School of music and school of film, as well as the university of Southern California school of theater. Her non-academic work includes collaborations with the Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey, the New Conservatory Theater Center, and more. She was the recipient of the 2024 Gil cates fellowship.
As a neurodivergent artist, Bianca believes in accessibility being a core foundation through every step of the design process. When not sitting in dark rooms and thinking very hard about shapes, Bianca likes to invent fake planets or search the internet for more farm-animal-themed cardigans.
Feel free to look through her portfolio for examples of her work
